Deutschland & Soccer

YEAAAAA... we are in the Final!!
I never thought that this would happen!
It’s so cool. I watched the game with people from my church with the projector and with a great sound system at the church. It was fun. The connection broke a few times so I and my twin sister started to scream like crazy but we survived and the image came back eventually.
It was so exciting ...first Turkey scored but we caught up and then we scored again. But they scored too. So it was 2:2
The game was almost over (90min) when Philipp Lahm scored again for Germany! That was it. OVER, FINISHED, FINITTO ,ENDE, AUS .....Germany is playing in the Final Game on Sunday!

I don’t know why but soccer is a big part of our culture, it’s our game even if we lose.
It will always be a big part of the German society. Soccer unites people and bands then together. It is something that everyone is watching especially the EM & the WM.

For example last night, if you went on the streets during the game you would find no one, no cars no people not even dogs ....it’s deserted. But after the game ….wow there was a party on the streets the city was full with cars, honking and people swaying flags....
When the national team wins EVERYONE in Germany wins... I can say WE are in the Final even though I will not be there ( I will sit in front of a television FOR SURE) but I am not driving to Wien. Still WE won, we win and we are going to win.

feel extraordinary

What is it that we girls like so much about prom dresses or a nice dress in general? What’s the thing that makes women spend more money on a wedding dress then for the whole wedding.

Is it the fact that we can just slip into a beautiful dress and feel beautiful?

Is that the “I wanna be a princess” thing?

Or is it just the fact that we can look different, it’s something we don’t do within a daily routine, so it’s exciting and new. We combine the wearing of a fancy dress with a special event e.g. a wedding or a graduation. We just feel that it is not an ordinary day….

I love that…. to wear a dress, like a pretty one, an extraordinary one…

These days I am so glad that I have a twin sister who loves to take pictures and who also has a good camera.

And that is what we do … I will get dressed and we just go into our garden or on a field near by and we take pictures….

It’s always a blast, because I feel like a model and she like a professional photographer….

I think that we girls should do that more often (I mean not spending a ton of money on a dress) I mean just jump into our favourite dress and do girly stuff, just because!…..just because we are girls, just because we are princesses.

In the Park

Today was one of the nicest days since I have been back from the US. I mean weather wise.
The sun was shining the whole time and the sky was totally blue ...only in the distance you could see some white clouds.
It was the perfect day for out trip to the park with some people from my church.
We went there for a Barbeque and Slack-lining, but we also let a boat drift on the water and I took a nap in the shade. It was fun.
Slack-lining is basically walking on a rope that is tightened between two trees. Sounds easy! It’s pretty hard though. Molly a girl from my DTS taught me how to do it, well I tried all the time and then I bought one. It took me 3 days to do my first steps on the rope, but it is something that you want to try over and over again because you really want to be able to do it. It’s totally fascinating and exciting and I think that you can get addicted to it.
This one guy David he is an acrobatically genius seriously. So he just jumped on the Slack line and walked… no, I am not jealous!
I am still learning to walk and he is trying to do some twists. I was only a little bit afraid because my carabineers are not the best for the rope so I definitely need to buy some new ones.

all starts with the cross

THE CUBE = MY LIFE

God made the cube, complete und perfect, all colors in perfect order.

I tool the cube, without knowing how to handle it, I twisted & turned, and other people played with it, the pushes & twisted it…

Now I am a mess:

All colors are mixed up, they have lost there center, Things are upside down, nothing is on the right position, positions & colors have lost there propose, the cube is not functional as a cube.

God takes the cube (my life) back

And everything starts with the cross

God showed you the propose of your existence (he wants us to be complete)

He showed you how you work, the different layers, and he gives you an understanding for the colors & the center pieces.

He showed you how to twist and turn, without breaking anything.

Some things you should know: (one by one for our live and the Rubics cube)

  • Follow the instructions you need to know the cube
  • Start with the first layer ( not the 2. and not the 3.)
  • Slowly
  • Start with the cross
  • Sometimes you will get stuck or mess it up. Try again!
  • Corners are important , but if everything falls apart, stay with the cross
  • The clues are only functional when you stay with the cross( we can only change our character with Jesus)
  • Work it layer for layer ( faithful in little things , he will give you big things)
  • Don’t rush
  • Be patient
  • Ask for help
  • Sometimes you have to go backwards
  • Sometimes it looks like the corner is right but it is not : take it out , WAIT, place it back in correctly. ( Desires seems to be right , but only GOD knows the right timing)
  • Sometimes you need a special twist
  • Sometimes you need to turn complete things upside down.
  • Don’t hold on to complete things , sometimes you will have to break them , to make a progress in other parts
  • It will all come together even though you don’t know how
  • The colors will line up if your way is the right ways
  • Sometimes you will have to do twists twice to see a result

Put it back, put it back, put it back !!

Practice! Do it OVER & OVER AGAIN

It needs to become heart knowledge

And don’t get discouraged

Just stay with the cross

The goal is to be complete

There we go…

We all know that GOD is a good GOD and that his plans for our life are better then everything that we could ever imagine but we still don’t believe it… well GOD kind of forced me to believe him.

There is this guy that I got to know on Outreach, his name is Antti. We went together to the Philippines and to Thailand. We talked a little and played ping pong… we talked about our lives and our families and about GOD. And I don’t even know how it happened but he ended up liking me and when I finally realized that I like him too, Outreach was almost over…. What I wanna say is that, I did not pick him, and I think he did not pick me. I really believe that GOD brought us together. So you might figure out what I wana say: YES I HAVE A BOYFRIEND…( and he is the Best….)

I am so happy…

Oh ya… there is a little problem (only a tiny one) he lives in Finland ….

I know that I can’t do anything that this relationship works I know that it is only by grace of GOD…

Back in Germany

I started my trip with my twin sister on Sunday morning around 5 in L.A and ended at 11 am on Monday... so ya it was quite a ride.
On the first Airport ( LAX ) we had to rearrange our luggage over a million times till we finally figured out the perfect way to divide all the heavy stuff that we had on our 4 bags.
On the second Airport the plain was broken so we were sitting there for 1 1/2 h in the plain ... waiting
On the second airport we had to run /run / run.... to get to our next plain and on the third Airport the told us that they forgot our luggage in the USA.
Ya! That was fun.
I’m home again and I can hardly believe is... it is wired and though so familiar. I don’t know what to think and I don’t know what to tell ... I have so many stories and experiences ...
I just enjoy being back and seeing my bed..( ya a pillow and a room for me alone)
I’m gone miss all the people from my DTS so bad...
Oh ya they are also the reason why I try to write in English...
