I was singing this song in my singing lessions and I could not help it... but cry... This reminds me so much about last x-mas, Miri and the things that are going to change in the next months of my life. I have to let go of things that I was holding on to for so long and I have to allow my self to change. I am changing and things will not be the same like they used to be... ever again.
And I have to find a way to live with that. Changes are part of my life and I love them and I just need to know that I am who I am and that I am allowed to change.
Children, sleeping.
Snow is softly falling.
Dreams are calling,
Like bells in the distance.
We were dreamers,
Not so long ago.
But one by one, we
All had to grow up.
When it seems the magic slipped away...
We find it all again on Christmas Day.
Believe in what your heart is saying,
Hear the melody that's playing.
There's no time to waste,
There so much to celebrate.
Believe in what you feel inside,
Give your dreams the wings to fly.
You have everything you need, if you just believe.
Trains move quickly
To their journey's end.
Destinations...
Are where we begin again.
Ships go sailing,
Far across the sea.
Trusting starlight,
To get where they need to be.
When it seems that we have lost our way...
We find ourselves again on Christmas Day.
Believe in what your heart is saying,
Hear the melody that's playing
There's no time to waste,
There so much to celebrate.
Believe in what you feel inside,
And give your dreams the wings to fly.
You have everything you need, if you just Believe.
If you just believe.
If you just believe.
If you just believe...just believe...just believe.

knitting is the nwe joga

My new job
After 4 1/2 months of unemployment I finally found a job!
Its a Bio- Company where they do the HTF ( High Throughput Screening) for bigger companies.
So they develop an Assay and adopt it to the robots and then the screening starts. I like it so far. The people are very nice and the labs are extremely organized and need. I don’t have my own computer yet. I have to share one with a France girl! Its so good that I can speak English again and that I am in a lab again. I missed that so much.
Everyone , be thankful for the work that you have there is nothing more annoying then "want to work and have no work" .Its 1000 times harder then "don’t want to work and have to work" :)
My way to the workplace is longer then so now I have to travel 1 1/2 h to be home. ( If I catch every bus, Tram or train, or my aunt ( she has a car and works in the same city). But that’s ok, because I have nothing else to do... Antti is in Finland, Miri is in the states and Judit & Johanna are studying in different countries and cities... so well... I am alone. But better to be alone and work then to be alone and don’t work.

ZOO.....just enjoy
I think the Zoo in Basel is one of the beautiest zoos in the whole world. Well I haven’t seen so many zoos in my life. But I was really disappointed by the one in London. So Basel Zoo, you have to have seen it.
I dragged Antti there when he was here from the 9th to the 19th of October. I just love it to see all those animals and because I have seen everything so often it’s not stressful at all because I know everything and I don’t have the feeling that i am missing something.
So we saw a lot but the ice-bears where not in there cage.
I love it so see the aquarium and all the fishes and the reptile section and all those big animals like the rhino or the elephants.
Something that I don’t like in the zoo is the monkey house. I don’t know why but I really don’t like to see gorillas and orangutans in behind glass. I mean I like the animals but to see them sitting board or sleeping behind a glass where all the people are watching them ... I don’t know.. Not my favorite.
The weather was perfect! And even though it would have rained, I am enjoying the zoo anyway!
So just at as a tip. If you ever come to my place, tell me that you wanna see the zoo! You be`ttcha that I will come with you.

Mitä Wedding on suomeksi ??
I got the change to go to a real finish wedding... we all know the weddings are in Germany or the US but Finland that’s special!
Ok I experienced the finish wedding as a mixture between the German and the US weddings its just like the golden middle.
So the church is more like the US version of a wedding. Its short (40min) and there is no worship like it would be in a German wedding. But the sisters of the bride sang a song so there was music.
The sermon was just the necessary things about marriage and LOVE and the basic stuff. It wasn’t that long. The priest was the only person to speak. The groom was waiting at the end of the aisle for his bride. The bride and groom were standing the whole time and only she got a ring. Not like in Germany where both get a ring.
AND NOW THE VERY BEST PART.... after the church... all people leave the church and then the bride and groom are coming out and guess what!! Everyone is throwing rice. When I heard that I got really excited because we don’t do that in Germany ( it is not allowed because birds who eat the rice will die because the rice bowed up in there stomachs, but anyway) That was so cooooool.
After the church they all drive to a Restaurant or another location where the food and the program are. So there is no honking by the way (in Germany everyone is honking with here horns during the ride to the restaurant).
Finish Wedding: food, program, cake
German Wedding: cake, program, food, more program, cake, more program
You see, German weddings are getting really long. So I really liked the finish wedding because it was everything that you need for a wedding but not too much.
There was music and a game and of cause a speech.
And we drove home after 8:00pm so we were not over tiered anyway I fell asleep in the car.
